President Abbas: Holocaust is the Most Heinous Crime in Modern Era

RAMALLAH, April 27, 2014 (WAFA) - In response to a question on the occasion of Holocaust Day, raised in conversation with Rabbi Marc Schneier, President Mahmoud Abbas said that: what happened to the Jews in the Holocaust is the most heinous crime to have occurred against humanity in the modern era. He expressed his sympathy with the families of the victims and many other innocent people who were killed by the Nazis.

Erekat: “National Reconciliation is Imperative to Achieve Just and Lasting Peace”

RAMALLAH, April 24, 2014 – (WAFA) – Member of PLO Executive Committee Saeb Erekat expressed severe disappointment at Israel’s reaction to the announcement of Palestinian national reconciliation.

“Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and his government were using Palestinian division as an excuse not to make peace. Now they want to use Palestinian reconciliation as an excuse for the same purpose. This is utterly absurd. The only logical conclusion is that Netanyahu’s government does not want peace,” said Erekat.
