Ambassador Saadi Salama welcomes members of the Palestine Solidarity Group of Leeds University

Hanoi, 9th June 2015 - Ambassador Saadi Salama received members of the Palestine Solidarity Group of Leeds University, including Henry de Thierry, committee member of the group, at the chancery of the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Hanoi. 

The Leeds Palestine Solidarity Group (PSG) is a campaigning group based at the University of Leeds, UK. The aim of the group is to raise awareness about the contemporary and historical situation in Palestine, apply international pressure to end the illegal Israeli occupation, and support the cause of the Palestinians and their right to self determination.

During the meeting, PSG members informed Ambassador about their wide range of activities such as speaker events, film showings and other social-cultural events.

Ambassador Saadi Salama thanked the group for their initiatives and acitivities to increase the understanding and support among international students for the just cause of the Palestinian people and reaffirmed the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including the right to establish an independent State of Palestine on their homeland.
