Hanoi – On Wednesday 27th May 2015, Ambassador Saadi Salama attended the workshop about Persian literature and Great poet Saadi, which was co-organized by the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) and the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam.
Speaking at the workshop, Ambassador Saadi Salama talked about the importance of poem in strengthening the cultural relationship and the impact of Arab culture in Saadi poet since he graduated from Baghdad, Iraq. The Ambassador said that Saadi is an icon of Persian culture who contributed to the co-existence and moderate Islam.
The workshop attracted numerous social scientists of Vietnam and international guests with an interesting discussion about the Persian literature and Great poet Saadi.
