Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Israeli Escalation Aims at Weakening PA

RAMALLAH, April 13, 2014 (WAFA) – Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned in a statement on Sunday the recent Israeli escalation against the Palestinian people, their property and their holy sites, holding the Israeli government responsible for the repercussions on situation in Palestine and in the region as a whole.

UNESCO Passes Resolution to Send Expert Mission to Jerusalem

Soldiers stand by as Israeli settlers attack Palestinian school girls

HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli settlers on Wednesday assaulted Palestinian school children in the southern West Bank, a school official said.

A school principal told Ma'an that a group of extremist Israeli settlers hurled stones at school girls in the village of al-Tuwani, leaving them bruised.

Israeli soldiers stood by and watched without taking action as the settlers threw rocks, the principal said.

Arab Leauge: Chance remains for negotiations to move forward

CAIRO (Ma'an) -- Arab League deputy secretary-general Ahmed Ben Helli criticized pressure on President Mahmoud Abbas in negotiations with Israel, saying that pressure should be exerted on Israel for not upholding their commitments.
