Ambassador Saadi Salama joins the "Meeting between the Diplomatic Corps and provinces 2015"

From 28th to 30th May 2015, Ambassador Saadi Salama attended the "Meeting between the diplomatic corps and provinces 2015" in Vinh City, Nghe An Province, which was co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and the Provincial People's Committee of Nghe An.

Ambassador Saadi Salama and other participants visited several local social-economic facilities and cultural sites, including Kim Lien Relic Site where President Ho Chi Minh was born and grew up. Ambassador had a short interview with Nghe An Newspaper, expressing his profound love and respect for Uncle Ho – the beloved great leader of the Vietnamese people. He said that the achievements of Uncle Ho and Vietnamese people havecreated the inspiration and more strength for the Palestinian people to continue their struggle for national freedom and independence.

The program attracted nearly 200 delegates, including ambassadors, chargés d’affaires and representatives from more than 30 countries, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, the leaders and entrepreneurs of six North Central provinces of Vietnam. The objectives of the event are to connect the Diplomatic Corps with provinces in the North Central region of Vietnam, to discuss the region’s potential for social and economic development, and promote cooperation with these provinces in various fields.
