Hanoi (VietnamPlus) - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Central Committee’s General Secretariat of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah), Jibril Rajoub, has promised to do his utmost to boost Palestine’s friendship and cooperation with the Vietnamese Party, State and people.

He made this promise in a meeting with Head of the Vietnamese Communist Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Hoang Binh Quan in Hanoi on November 10, saying that Palestine highly valued the lessons of the Vietnamese revolution and the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Quan said Vietnam backed the Palestinian people in their fight for justice in pursuit of basic national rights, the right to self-determination and the right to establish an independent Palestinian State.

The country is keen to increase the solidarity and friendship between the two Parties, States and peoples, he said.

During earlier talks, Rajoub and Deputy Head of the commission Tran Dac Loi discussed measures to expand the friendly cooperation between the two Parties and countries.
