Israeli Forces Arrest people from Hebron, Jenin and Salfit

HEBRON – (WAFA) – Israeli forces Thursday arrested eight people from Hebron and Jenin districts, and detained several people for hours on the same day at Qarawat Bani Hassan, a town located in the West Bank governorate of Salfit, according to local security sources.

Forces stormed Hahul and Dura, two towns located to the north and south of Hebron respectively, where they arrested five people aged between 21 and 27 years after breaking into and searching their houses.

They also set up checkpoints in several neighborhoods in Hebron as well as on the southern entrances of Hebron district and al-Fawwar, and stopped and inspected Palestinian vehicles passing along the way and examined passengers’ IDs.

Meanwhile, forces stormed Jenin camp, where they broke into and searched several houses and arrested three people.

On the same day, forces also stormed Qarawat Bani Hassan, located seven kilometers northwest of Salfit, where they launched a large-scale arrest campaign, detaining and interrogating 10 people for several hours before releasing them.
