Foreign Ministry Condemns ‘Israeli Incitement’ against PA

Thursday, 08 May 2014 09:45

RAMALLAH (WAFA) – Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned, in a statement on Wednesday, the “continued Israeli incitement against the Palestinian leadership.”

It said the Israeli foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman continues with his ‘deceptive campaign’ against the Palestinian people and President Mahmoud abbas in what it said was an attempt – by Lieberman – to hold the Palestinian side responsible for the failure of negotiations, while the Israeli government continues settlement construction.

The ministry added that instead of keeping up negotiations with the Palestinians, the Israeli government opted for settlement, occupation and aggression, including the recent escalation in al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, in addition to financing the “terrorism of Israeli settlers” against the Palestinian people and their property.

This affirms the Israeli government’s attempts aimed at destroying the two-state solution, the statement said.
