Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Viet Nam, H.E. Mr. Saadi Salama, and Mr. Dang Huy Dong - Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment of Vietnam, signed the Agreement for Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Investments between the two countries. 

This agreement is a basic step toward a more favorable environment encouraging investment from both Palestine and Vi?t Nam. By promotion and reciprocal protection, this agreement will provide a solid legal foundation for two sides’ enterprises to expand business and investment, promoting business innovations, creating more jobs and making a wider range of high-quality goods and services available to customers in both countries. Enterprises will also given more opportunities to share investment experience in their advantaged fields.

On the basis of the traditional friendship relation between Palestine and Vietnam, the Agreement for Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Investments will create a new driving force, bringing two sides' economic and trade cooperation to a new height, which matches the time-honored and very close political relationship between Palestine and Vietnam. This is also consistent with the two countries' desire to develop multi-faceted relations, for the mutual benefits of the two peoples, for prosperity and peace.
